Receiving Your Delivery
Couriers require a signature from the recipient for delivery, and this is a fast and secure way to have your products delivered.
It is essential you provide a full, accurate shipping address, and a valid delivery phone number.
If there is VAT or any Import Duty to pay on the goods due to your country's import rules, the courier will present you with a bill at the time of delivery. In general you will need to pay any such bill to the courier before you can receive the goods. Any such charges are your responsibility and unfortunately we cannot offer advice or estimates about import fees or other taxes in your country.
If you believe your package is missing items, includes incorrect items, or has been damaged or tampered with in any way, it is essential that you communicate this clearly to the courier company's delivery driver at the time of delivery. If you accept delivery and sign for the goods it is much more difficult to pursue a claim later.
Shipping Costs
All our shipping fees are calculated according to either the actual kg weight of the goods or the goods' dimensions, plus the delivery location.
The prices depend on the different rates of the shipping companies and are subject to change without notice. We're constantly working on lowering the shipping prices for you though!
All orders must be fully paid in advance, including shipping. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Worldwide Shipping and Legality
We offer shipping worldwide to almost all locations on the planet. (We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders at our discretion, for example where shipping to a remote area is not feasible for any reason.)
Please note that you are responsible for finding out in advance about the legality of importing your ordered items in your country - and about the legalities of importing goods into your country per se. We are not responsible for confiscated items by your local authorities or any associated costs incurred. Please read the full small print below!
Customs clearance is undertaken by the courier in the delivery destination country (and in certain cases, in the en-route country). You must be available for contact by them, in the event of any query or clearance confirmation. You are responsible for knowing the regulations in your delivery country before placing your order.
Order Cancellations
There is no need to contact Gabel Corp to cancel orders which have not been paid for. These orders will expire automatically after a certain period. Only orders that have actually been paid for are activated and entered into the order checking / processing system.
In general, we can accept requests for cancellation of paid orders up to the working day on which the order enters the status "processing". Customers can request cancellation of orders by email quoting their order number.
If a customer requests cancellation of an order after the order is in processing (i.e. goods checking and packing) in the warehouse, or after the goods have actually been dispatched from the warehouse into the delivery logistics system, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, deducted from the resultant refund or credit.
If you have made a payment using Paypal, and the payment is "pending", e.g. waiting for an e-check to clear, we can accept cancellation at this stage, and the refund can be made in the form of cancelling the receipt of the payment in Paypal before it clears. In these cases the customer needs to provide a Paypal transaction ID.
- Orders will be refunded in full without any deduction of restocking fees in the majority of cases. In particular, where an order is cancelled or refused during the initial order checking process, the full payment will be refunded.
- In the majority of cases where a customer requests a cancellation and refund during the time an order is in processing, prior to the dispatch of the items from the warehouse, a full refund can be made without the deduction of any restocking fees or other fees.
- If an apparently bona fide order has been placed, and has entered processing in the warehouse, Gabel Corp does reserve the right to charge a restocking fee up to 20% of the value of the goods, at our discretion. The most likely instance where this is applicable is where the customer requests a cancellation of the order for reasons beyond Gabel Corp's control, but the goods have already been dispatched from the warehouse and Gabel Corp actually incurs costs physically returning packages from Hong Kong or Shenzhen depots back to the warehouse. Another possible instance where we may charge restocking fees is where a customer cancels several processing orders all at the same time.
- Additional charges may be deducted from refunds in cases where goods have been shipped overseas and are returned for reasons beyond Gabel Corp's control, and where as a result Gabel Corp incurs return shipping charges and China import duties and taxes, as well as further domestic shipping expenses.
- If the consignee refuses to accept receipt of goods because they have changed their mind about the purchase, or because they do not accept paying their own country's import duties and taxes, or for similar reasons beyond Gabel Corp's control, we will deduct from the refund all of the expenses incurred in returning the goods to China. For this reason it is particularly important for customers to be aware of import regulations in their own country. It is the responsibility of the buyer, not Gabel Corp, to find out full information about import regulations and taxes in the buyer's country, in advance of placing a payment for an order.
Returns and Refunds
Return Policy for broken or defective items
All our products come with a 12 month warranty.
This means if there is a quality defect that causes the device to be unacceptable for sale or unusable during the 12 months after dispatch from our warehouse, we will accept a return and either repair the item, replace the item with an identical new item, replace the item with an equivalent item that you accept, or offer credit or a refund.
If you experience any problem with a product bought from Gabel Corp, contact us first and we will do our best to advise you.
Any returns must be discussed with our Customer Support in advance, and authorized so they are sent with the correct paperwork.
All returned products must be sent together with the original packaging and accessories unless an exception is agreed in advance.
In the event of any returned goods where you are requesting a repair / replacement / refund under the warranty, your shipping costs returning the products to the warehouse in China are payable by you, and cannot be compensated by us.
Physical damage to a product caused by the user invalidates the warranty. Opening products up, e.g. to repair or modify components, invalidates the warranty. Flashing the firmware or using non-approved software invalidates the warranty.
If a delivery is confirmed lost, stolen, or damaged before receipt, we will work with the courier directly to obtain information, and arrange a refund or re-delivery at no further expense to you.
Return Policy for non-defective, non-broken items
The customer is solely responsible for choosing the right product, including for example the "correct" desired memory capacity; color; screen size; digital tv format; GSM band; NTSC/PAL color region - as all of these are unique SKUs on Gabel Corp - We will send you exactly what you order, so please read descriptions before purchasing.
Returns of your unwanted / unsold products will not be accepted.
If the consignee of a delivery refuses or fails to accept delivery for any reason, including refusal to comply with customs clearance/costs or simply having an incorrect address, Gabel Corp accepts no liability and the customer will not be eligible for compensation.
Please contact Customer Service for return authorization before returning merchandise.
If a customer refuses delivery of an item, or the wrong address is given at the time the order is placed and the order cannot be delivered, the 20% restocking fee will automatically apply and shipping charges will not be refunded.
Refunds
The following general conditions apply to refunds made by Gabel Corp:
- Refunds can be made in the form of credit extended by Gabel Corp against future orders.
- Refunds can also be made using Paypal or Google Checkout.
- Paypal or Google Checkout refunds will be completed within 7 working days of the customer's request or the confirmation of faulty goods. In most cases the refund will actually be completed within 2-3 working days.
- Orders originally paid by check are not normally refundable. Refunds can be made to a Paypal account, or in the form of credit for new items.
A full refund of the buyer's original item purchase cost can be made in the case of returned faulty items. This is dependent on the following conditions:
a) The customer has communicated with Gabel Corp about the possible fault and received a return slip to authorise the goods return.
b) The goods have been received by Gabel Corp with a properly completed return's slip.
c) The items have been confirmed as faulty, defective, or unacceptable quality by the Gabel Corp technical team.
d) No open Paypal dispute or chargeback exists on the customer's account.
e) There are no other outstanding bills on the customer's account.
Please note your original shipping fee is not refundable unless items were wrongly delivered, or as otherwise discussed with the support team.
The Small Print!
Before you read the small print: Importing is a breeze in most countries! You may have to pay your own country's VAT (i.e. Sales Tax) and sometimes variable Import Duty when the items arrive, but in the vast majority of cases packets / cartons delivered from China by courier arrive safely with no problems at all!
Read the item description carefully! We will ship you whatever you order. Although we do assist you by manually checking all orders to screen possible region / compatibility inconsistencies, the 20% restocking fee will be applied for returns of healthy products which were simply mis-ordered by you. If you are in an NTSC video color region, don't order PAL products for your market. Check if your locality has free DVB-T broadcasts before buying DVB-T digital TV receivers. If the driver's seat is on the left, don't order left side passenger sun visor Car DVD Monitors!
Additionally, there are some (cool) types of gadgets including for example (but not limited to) radio signal jammers, high powered lasers, and quasi-medical products, that are not legal (booo!) to import into certain countries. As the buyer / importer it is entirely your responsibility to find out in advance of placing your order whether your ordered items are subject to import restrictions. We will ship you whatever you order, so we do not accept liability in the case of failed delivery of goods, where they have failed to clear your country's local Customs - either in cases where the goods are turned back, or in cases where the goods are seized. In addition we are not responsible for informing you of possible import restriction issues before or after purchase.
We will not be responsible for any damage that may be caused on your computer, console, or other hardware / software during / related to installation of any of our products. We'll not be liable for any damage or personal loss due to incorrect installation of our products.
Delivery time: If there is a possible delay due to the warehouse being out of stock, we'll contact you by email to discuss sending out your order in separate shipments, changing products, or other options. Larger orders that exceed our stock may take up to 1 week longer to send out, as we have to order from the factory. In such cases we will contact you about any delay. In certain cases, we have to complete a verification check with you before processing your order, which can add 1-3 days to the processing time.
If you are at all unsure about importing goods from China, start with us. Your payment is through a safe channel, your delivery is guaranteed and the products are quality assured!
Privacy Policy
We do not give, sell, rent, lease or share private customer information to any third party company for purposes of commerical solicitation. We will only disclose customer information in instances in which the customer has granted us explicit permission to share such information, when necessary for the fulfillment of order processing (for example, your information is given to the courier so your order can be shipped), or when required to do so by law enforcement.
The bottom line: We keep your information confidential.
